At 40 × 25 × 18 cm it's built to the underseat dimensions most budget carriers publish for a free small bag. Allowances change and a few airlines are stricter on depth, so check your airline's current figures before you fly — and note that a hard-packed bag measures closer to its limit than an empty one.
